The Director of the World Health Organization has confirmed that more than 12,000 people in the Gaza Strip are in urgent need of medical evacuation, amid the dire humanitarian conditions caused by the ongoing aggression. He explained that most of these patients suffer from severe injuries or medical conditions requiring immediate care in hospitals outside Gaza.

He noted that the organization continues to pressure Israeli authorities to increase the approval rate for medical evacuation operations, emphasizing that delays in these procedures put the lives of many patients at risk.

These remarks come at a time when the humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating, with the region facing a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, in addition to a lack of fuel needed to operate hospitals and healthcare facilities.
