Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians early on Friday following raids on their homes in Ramallah, in the central West Bank, while other Israeli forces besieged a house in Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank.
Local media sources reported that the occupation forces arrested two students from Birzeit University, Amro Abu Zaid after detaining his family in their home in the Al-Masaifeh neighborhood in Ramallah, and Iyad Abu Shmala, after raiding his house in the town of Sarda, north of Ramallah.
The Israeli arrests also included two young men: Kamal Hassouna and Jihad Misbah from the Jalazone refugee camp.
Additionally, local sources indicated that Israeli forces besieged a house in Tulkarm, and armed clashes erupted with resistance fighters.
The city of Tulkarm and its refugee camps, Tulkarm and Nour Shams, are witnessing a widespread presence of infantry soldiers and military vehicles, patrolling the streets and neighborhoods, especially along the Nablus Street that stretches between the two camps.
