Hamas: Ready for a Full Exchange Deal at Once, with these Conditions

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated that the reconstruction of Gaza must be carried out through a clear national consensus and that it will not allow any external force to interfere.

The movement also affirmed its readiness to complete a full prisoner exchange deal at once, based on conditions that include a permanent cessation of the war, the withdrawal of the occupation, and the reconstruction of Gaza.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said on Saturday morning that negotiations for the second phase have not yet begun, but communication with mediators is ongoing. Hamas also noted that the Israeli occupation has not delivered the list of Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release today, reaffirming its commitment to the ceasefire agreement as long as the occupation adheres to it.

The movement reiterated its readiness to finalize a comprehensive prisoner exchange deal in one package, provided that it ensures a permanent end to the war, the withdrawal of Israeli forces, and the reconstruction of Gaza.

Hamas also stressed that guaranteeing the success of future exchange operations depends on the Israeli occupation’s commitment to the remaining terms of the agreement and the implementation of the humanitarian protocol.

Hamas added, "It has been 33 days since the first phase began, yet the occupation has not fully implemented all its terms," emphasizing that "the situation in Gaza is catastrophic" and calling on mediators to pressure the occupation to implement the humanitarian protocol.
