174 Children Among 400 Killed as Israel Escalates Genocidal War on Gaza

The Israeli occupation has resumed its brutal assault on Gaza, committing a series of massacres that have left more than 400 Palestinians dead, including 174 children, 89 women, and 32 elderly individuals. The attacks, which began at dawn on Tuesday, targeted civilians as they slept or prepared for Suhoor, the pre-dawn meal during Ramadan.

Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director-General of the Government Media Office, revealed that 73% of those killed were children, women, and the elderly, underscoring the deliberate and merciless nature of Israel’s campaign. “The Israeli occupation army has carried out dozens of massacres, intensifying airstrikes on civilians in their homes,” he stated.

The sudden escalation marks a stark violation of the ceasefire agreement brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States earlier this year. It has plunged Gaza back into chaos, exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis. Hospitals are overwhelmed, fuel supplies are critically low, and essential resources are dwindling as Israeli forces continue to blockade crossings.

Residential areas, civilian buildings, and makeshift shelters have been relentlessly bombarded, leaving families torn apart and communities in ruins. The attacks have deepened the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, who have endured years of siege, aggression, and systemic violence.

As the death toll rises, the international community remains silent, leaving Gaza’s people to face this latest wave of devastation alone. The world watches as yet another chapter of tragedy unfolds in Gaza, where children, women, and the elderly bear the brunt of a war they did not choose.

This offensive is not an isolated incident but part of a relentless pattern of violence that continues to shatter lives and destroy futures. For the people of Gaza, the question remains: how many more must die before the world takes action?
