Settlers Uproot dozens of Perennial Trees in Hebron

Settlers stormed the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, and uprooted dozens of olive trees, aged over 20 years on Monday.

According to local sources, the settlers, protected by the occupation army, stormed Al-Adisa, south of the town of Sa'ir, and cut about 70 perennial olive trees on a 20-donum area of land, owned by the Palestinian Yousef Jaradat.

They pointed out that a fistfight happened between the citizens and the occupation soldiers, during their attempt to prevent the settlers from cutting the trees.

Moreover, the Israeli forces detained at dawn today both of Ramzi Al-Haimouni and Yazid Abu Aisha, from Hebron, after they broke into their house and searched them.

The forces erected military checkpoints on the northern entrances to the city, and the entrances to the towns of Sa'ir, Beit Ummar, and Halhul, north of Hebron.
