A Palestinian prisoner continues his hunger strike

Palestinian prisoner, Waseem Esaid, from Hebron, has been on hunger strike for a month, as a rejection to the administrative detention imposed on him by Israeli forces while he suffers from harsh health conditions. Recently, he has been moved from Remon prison to Ela prison.

Palestinian Society Prisoner’s club stated to Safa that prisoner Esaid, 32, has been in Israeli jails since 2019. He is an ex-detainee who got injured by Israeli bullets in 2012.

A part of his intestine had been removed and then he had been arrested in Israeli prisons for two years.

PSPC held the Israeli authorities responsible for Esaid’s life, calling the competent authorities to follow up with his case, to end his detention, and to stop Israel’s policy of administrative detention against the Palestinian prisoners.
