According to Gaza’s health ministry, emergency teams across the strip received 10 victims in the past 24 hours: two who died outright and eight whose bodies were pulled from under the rubble of destroyed residential buildings. Many more remain trapped beneath debris and on roads that rescue units cannot access due to ongoing bombing, clearance obstacles and strict movement limits.
The ministry reported that since the ceasefire took hold on 11 October 2025, the recorded total stands at 238 deaths, 600 injured, and 510 bodies recovered from various locations across Gaza. It also noted that Israeli authorities handed over 45 additional bodies on Monday through neutral intermediaries, bringing the number of remains returned to 270.
Health officials reiterated their plea to international actors: the continuation of the blockade, the impaired access for rescue operations and the withheld remains of prisoners and civilians alike are deepening the crisis. They warned that without full access for rescue teams and an immediate removal of obstruction, the enclave will face a complete collapse of its already fragile health and recovery system.
