US Congresswoman Marie Newman slams the Israeli plan of Covid-19 vaccination that deprives millions of Palestinians infected with the virus of getting the vaccine.

Newman said that Israel has a moral and humanitarian obligation to ensure access for Palestinians living under ita occupation.

"The Netanyahu administration has a moral and humanitarian obligation to ensure that both Israelis & Palestinians have access to vaccines," she said.

She added that "whether we're talking about our own communities, the United States, or nations across the globe, we must do everything in our power to ensure vaccines are not only distributed rapidly but also equitably."

It is worth noting that Congresswoman Newman is the first person on Capitol Hill to talk about the inequalities faced by Palestinians in accessing the vaccine and she has previously criticized Israel's treatment of Palestinians.
