Clashes broke out between the Israeli forces and the Palestinian people of Deir Jarir village, east of the West Bank city of Ramallah on Friday afternoon.

Safa correspondent reported that the people of the village organized a protest rejecting Israeli settlements in the Al-Shorfa area, and they marched to its lands.
 
He pointed out that the Israeli forces suppressed the protestors and fired gas bombs and rubber bullets, while dozens of youths threw stones at the forces.

It is worth noting that the village is witnessing daily and weekly activities rejecting the settlers' attempts to establish a settlement outpost on the village's lands, amid daily provocations by the settlers against the people and farmers.
