Minister of Israel, Netanyahu, welcomed the appointment Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States, and Kamala Harris as his vice president.
“I have personal relationships of friendship with Joe Biden for years, and I hope to work with him in order to uphold our alliance, widen the peace between Israel and the Arab countries and confront the common challenges, most notably the Iranian threat. I wish them success. God bless America. God bless Israel,” Netanyahu.
Rauven Rivilin, president of Israel, congratulated Biden on his presidency, saying that Israel sends love and respect to his new vice president.
Benny Gantz, Prime Minister of Israel, also congratulated him, mentioning that this is a special moment for the US and the whole world. “There are common challenges between Israel and the US, common destiny and common future,” he said.
Biden was sworn in yesterday as the 46th president of the United States.
