Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the attacks of the Israeli occupation forces and extremist settlers against the Palestinians in Jerusalem as they caused several injuries.

It held Israel responsible for the consequences of such ongoing attacks which feed the hatred, violence, and tension.

It condemned the occupation's attempts to prevent the Palestinian citizens from participating in the Palestinian democratic electoral process.

It also called on the international community to support the conduct of the elections in all occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem.

It confirmed its position supporting the Palestinian electoral process as it is a legal and political entitlement that contributes to stabilizing the Palestinian people on their land and confirming their right to self-determination and the establishment of the Palestinian state, whose capital is Palestine.
