The Islamic Resistance Movement- Hamas on Monday holds the Israeli authorities responsible for the repercussion of The Israel Prison Service’s attack on prominent Palestinian detainees Jamal Abu Alhija and Hasan Salamah held in Eshel Prison.

The movement confirms in a statement, a copy of which obtained  by SAFA, that the resistance is prepared to respond to any Israeli assault on the detainees. It also highlights that the continued Israeli attacks on Palestinian detainees and ignoring the issue of Palestinian detainee on hunger strike Maher Al-Akhras is a crime that will not pass.

"The resistance is still determined to resist the Israeli occupation and protect the detainees at any price," the movement added.
