Israeli settlers storm historic sites in Nablus

Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed Awarta town in the southeast of Nablus under the pretext of performing Talmudic rituals in the town's historic sites.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town last night, closed the village, and prevented people from getting in and outside in preparation for the settlers' entry.

Later on, several settlers' vehicles protected by the occupation forces arrived and performed Talmudic rituals in one of the sites.

Other settlers raided one of the homes in Burin village in southern Nablus and tried to throw incendiary bottles yet the families of the village confronted them and forced them to leave.
