The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Committee said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to neglect the health condition of the sick prisoner Jamal Ibrahim Amr, 48, from Hebron, who is suffering from a deteriorating health condition.
In a statement reached Safa, the Committee said that medical data indicated the possibility of the prisoner Amr suffering from a cancerous tumor in the liver and kidneys.
The prisoner Amr, who has been detained since 2004 and sentenced to life imprisonment, and is imprisoned in Nafha prison, has suffered over the years of his detention from health problems and underwent stomach surgery and recently suffered from severe urinary tract infections that necessitated his transfer a week ago to a hospital for 5 days.
The occupation prisons administration has been procrastinating in providing the minimum requirements for health care for the prisoner Amr, which threatens his health condition to deteriorate rapidly, knowing that he is married and has three children.
