Israel sentences a Palestinian prisoner to two years imprisonment and a fine


Ofer Military Court sentenced the young prisoner, Riyad Muhammad Ibrahim Alyan, 18, from Al-Jalazun refugee camp in Ramallah governorate, to two years in prison and a fine of 2,000 shekels.

Asra Media Office explained that the occupation forces had arrested the boy, Olayan, on August 5, 2020, after raiding, searching and vandalizing his family’s house.

He added that the indictment submitted by the Military Prosecution to the Occupation Court consists of ten pages, and among the most prominent charges against him is throwing Molotov cocktails and stones at the occupation forces.
