Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday released the prisoner, Thaer Hussein Emara, 35, from Tulkarm camp, after he spent 15 years in the occupation jails.
Dozens of captive citizens received Emara at the Salem checkpoint, west of Jenin, and drove towards the town of Al-Silat Al-Harithiya to the home of the liberated captive Muhammad Shawahna, where he was hosted there before heading to Tulkarm camp.
The director of the Palestinian Prisoners' Club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour, stated that the occupation forces arrested Emara from Tulkarm camp on August 30, 2006, and a number of citizens were injured during the arrest, and the occupation court issued a 15-year prison sentence against him.
