The Syndicate of Engineers - Nablus Branch organized last Wednesday a solidarity stand with the prisoner, Engineer Alaa Samih Al-Araj, who is on hunger strike for the twenty-fifth consecutive day, rejecting his administrative detention.
The head of the Syndicate’s branch in Nablus, Engineer Yazan Jabr, said that this stand comes as a commitment from the Syndicate to its duty to stand by the prisoners, and in support of the family of Al-Araj, and to urge the Red Cross and human rights institutions to pressure the occupation to end the administrative detention file.
For her part, the wife of the Al-Araj expressed her concern about the deterioration of his health significantly and his loss of a lot of weight.
She explained that he is physically exhausted and lives under great pressure in the isolation of Al-Jalama prison.
