Sada Social documents 50 violations against Palestinian digital content in August

Sada Social Center, a Palestinian digital rights organization, said that it has documented 50 violations against Palestinian content during August 2021.

In a report, a copy of which obtained Safa, the center said that these violations and restrictions mainly affected the content and accounts that dealt with the Palestinian situation and the ongoing violations of the occupation.

Moreover, the Center recorded that the Twitter administration restricts accounts of international activists who provided content supporting Palestinian rights, in a step considered by the Center to persist in aligning with the Israeli narrative and pressure to prevent any narrative in favor of Palestinian rights, and a continuation of the policy of double standards.

Meanwhile, the Center denounced the continuation of social networking sites by allowing their pages to be turned into a platform and space for incitement against Palestinians, as it recorded dozens of complaints about the continued publication of threats and abuse of Palestinians on Israeli pages and accounts targeting Palestinians on social media, as well as allowing the publication of violent content and incitement to murder.
