Hundreds of pro-Palestine activists took part in a protest in Manchester on Saturday to demand to boycott Puma, a global sportswear manufacturer, for being a main sponsor of the Israel Football Association (IFA), which includes teams in Israel’s illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land.
The march was held to mark the International day of Action on Puma, September 18, at 2:00 P.M. in Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.
The demonstrators marched through City Centre while chanting slogans that condemned Israeli apartheid in occupied Palestine and calling to boycott Puma and occupied the Puma headquarters in Manchester.
The march was called for by several pro-Palestine and human rights groups, including the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), Manchester Palestine Action, and the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions Campaign at the University of Manchester (UoM BDS).
