Journalist Support Committe stated that the Israeli occupation committed 652 violations against Palestinian journalists in Occupied Palestine since the beginning of 2021.

 On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Journalists, the committee said that the recent aggression on Gaza in May, 2022, the Israeli occupation killed the journalist Yousef Abo Hussein and destroyed more than 59 media institutions.

It called for providing protection and solidarity with the Palestinian journalists. They are the bearer of the word, who have been always chased by the Israeli occupation to silence them.

The committe also appreciated the role played by the journalists in revealing the humanitarian sides, covering the events and documenting the Israeli violations and attacks against the Palestinians.

It also called on all journalists around the world to strengthen their solidarity and support the Palestinian journalists and media institutes.

It urged the international society, human rights organizationa and the International Union for journalists to hold its responsibilities towards the Palestinian journalists as all international laws protect their rights..

The committee also caled for releasing 24 journalists arrested in the Israeli prisons.
