The Military Occupation Court sentenced the prisoner Ismail Salih al-Deek, 27, from the village of Kafr Nima, west of Ramallah, to an actual 25-month prison sentence, in addition to a fine of 8,000 shekels.

Asra Media Office indicated that the occupation forces had arrested Al-Deek on April 23, 2020 after raiding his family’s house in the village of Kafr Nima, destroying its contents under the pretext of searching. Then, he was transferred to the Al-Maskoubiya investigation center.

The occupation intelligence charged the prisoner Al-Deek with several charges, including participation in inciting activities and attempting to harm the security of the occupation. After postponing his trial for 13 times, the occupation court sentenced him to 25 months in prison.

In a related context, the occupation court sentenced the 17-year-old prisoner, Ahmed Nazih Abu Adi, from the village of Kafr Nima, to 12 months in prison, in addition to a fine of 3,000 shekels.

The occupation forces arrested Abu Adi on March 10, 2021 after raiding his family’s house and destroying its contents under the pretext of searching. Then, he was transferred to investigations at the Ofer Center, before transferring him to the cubs’ sections in the same prison.

The occupation intelligence charged Abu Adi with participating in confrontations and throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at the occupation patrols. After postponing his trial 6 times, the occupation court sentenced him to 12 months in prison.
