Saudi Arabia on Tuesday condemned the storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank by the Israeli president, stressing that it was a flagrant violation, and a hostile and provocative step for the feelings of Muslims around the world.

In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop the continuous practices of the occupation government and its officials towards Islamic sanctities.
