For 77 consecutive days, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have waged a relentless campaign of genocide, siege, and starvation in northern Gaza, compounding the suffering of its besieged residents. The daily artillery and airstrikes have devastated homes and residential buildings in the Jabalia Refugee Camp and Beit Lahiya, leaving thousands trapped without access to essential aid, food, or clean water.
Friday morning saw Israeli warplanes launch fresh airstrikes on the Al-Alami area and Jabalia camp, reducing several buildings to rubble. Since the invasion began on October 5, more than 4,000 Palestinians have been killed, 12,000 injured, 2,000 detained, and countless others remain missing. The blockade has crippled vital sectors and infrastructure, intensifying the humanitarian crisis.
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reports that the IOF’s operations aim at the comprehensive erasure of northern Gaza through methods such as aerial bombardment, explosive devices, robotic demolition, and bulldozer-driven excavation. Entire neighborhoods have been obliterated in what amounts to systematic destruction of both civilian and military structures.
Since October 7, the Israeli military has committed acts of genocide in Gaza, leaving over 150,000 Palestinians killed or injured—predominantly women and children—while more than 10,000 remain missing. The scale of the atrocities underscores the devastating impact of ongoing airstrikes, ground invasions, and blockade measures targeting one of the world’s most densely populated areas.
Despite international outcry, including arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21st for Israeli leaders Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity, the massacres persist unabated, erasing entire communities and perpetuating immense human suffering in Gaza.
