IDF Continue to Commit Violations against Palestinians in Occupied West Bank

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a series of raids and incursions into Palestinian cities and villages across the West Bank at dawn on Thursday, arresting numerous Palestinian citizens during these operations.

Special Israeli forces stormed the city of Hebron, conducting widespread arrests in the town of Halhul, north of the city, detaining more than 15 citizens and transferring them to unknown locations. Additionally, the IDF confiscated two vehicles belonging to released prisoners Daoud Hermas and Awad Al-Saada.

In the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, the IDF raided several homes, searching them and causing panic among women and children.

In Nablus, dozens of Israeli settlers, under heavy guard from the IDF, stormed Joseph’s Tomb. Local sources reported that numerous Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, entered the eastern area of Nablus, deploying in Balata al-Balad, the vicinity of Joseph’s Tomb, and nearby residential neighbourhoods.

The IDF also blocked Amman Street, adjacent to Joseph’s Tomb, with dirt mounds to restrict vehicle movement. Snipers positioned themselves on rooftops, while reconnaissance drones conducted intensive overflights of the area.

Furthermore, in Ramallah, Israeli settlers attacked the village of Burqa before IDF forces entered the area. Local sources reported that settlers assaulted residents on the outskirts of Burqa, followed by the IDF storming the village.

Burqa has frequently been subjected to raids by settlers, under the protection of occupation forces. These incursions often involve the firing of live ammunition at residents and the destruction of property.
