The occupation forces have intensified their military assault on Jenin camp, marking the fourth consecutive day of violence with widespread destruction, explosions, and arson. Utilising heavy bulldozers, drones, and missiles, the assault targeted homes and infrastructure, leaving residents displaced and their livelihoods in ruins.
Eyewitnesses reported that bulldozers systematically demolished homes near the "Al-Aseer" mosque and in the "Al-Damaj" and "Khalat Al-Suhah" neighborhoods, forcing families to evacuate under duress. This destruction appeared calculated, clearing paths for machinery to penetrate further into the camp. As drones bombarded homes, resulting fires were left to rage, with occupation forces actively preventing civil defence crews from intervening.
The violence reached a peak as thousands were compelled to flee under the scrutiny of advanced surveillance technologies, including artificial intelligence-based scanning systems. Many were subjected to arrests and field interrogations, while others were caught in the crossfire. Among the wounded was a 65-year-old man, shot by occupation forces and evacuated to a hospital by the Red Crescent Society.
In a move that further compounded the humanitarian crisis, the occupation forces cut electricity across the camp and parts of Jenin city, including critical facilities such as the government hospital and Ibn Sina specialised hospital. The delivery of fuel for hospital generators was also blocked, prompting urgent warnings from Deputy Governor Mansour Al-Saadi about the grave risks to patients’ lives.
The military operations expanded beyond the camp, with forces storming the town of Qabatiya, demolishing structures, and besieging homes. Snipers were stationed across key areas, and additional villages were targeted with roadblocks and bulldozing operations, deepening the isolation and suffering of the Jenin region.
This latest escalation highlights the relentless brutality faced by Palestinians under occupation, as communities endure systematic violence, displacement, and destruction with limited recourse to safety or justice.
