Amid the ruins of homes and collapsing hospitals, Gaza’s humanitarian crisis worsens daily. Despite international agreements guaranteeing aid, the Israeli occupation continues to obstruct the entry of food, medicine, and shelter, deepening the suffering of civilians. Starvation, disease, and displacement threaten an already devastated population, while global silence prevails.
The ceasefire agreement promised 60,000 caravans, 200,000 tents, and 600 aid trucks daily, yet these commitments remain unfulfilled. The occupation restricts medical and humanitarian supplies, delaying their entry or outright refusing essential materials. Even available aid, such as 50,000 tents from Jordan, is blocked if they contain metal frames, leaving displaced families exposed to harsh weather.
The healthcare system is on the verge of collapse, with hospitals running out of medicine and supplies. Medical aid covers only 20% of urgent needs, while major hospitals are nearly non-functional. The occupation manipulates priority lists, ensuring Gaza remains trapped in a medical crisis, unable to rebuild its shattered health sector.
Despite the ceasefire, only 8,500 aid trucks have entered Gaza, with less than 35% reaching the north. Out of 120,000 needed tents, only 9,500 have arrived, most of poor quality. Gaza’s media office warns of catastrophic consequences, urging immediate international intervention to break the blockade and prevent further loss of innocent lives.
