Iran Condemns Israeli Crimes in Occupied West Bank

Iran has strongly condemned the crimes committed by Israel in the occupied West Bank, particularly the killing of civilians, arbitrary arrests, and the destruction of property.

In a statement released on Monday, February 3, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaïl Baghaï expressed deep concern over the escalation of Israeli aggression in the West Bank, particularly in the Jenin refugee camp.

Baghaï noted that various United Nations human rights bodies, including the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, have repeatedly issued warnings against the spread of Israel's genocidal campaign in the West Bank.

The Iranian official called on the international community, especially the Muslim countries of the region, to take concrete measures to prevent the repetition of these "heinous" crimes by the Israeli regime in the West Bank.

Political analyst Imad-e-Din Hamrouni and independent journalist Mohsen Abdelmoumen have also weighed in with their views on the matter.
