Over the past ten days, just 853 aid trucks have entered Gaza, barely a fraction of the 6,000 needed to meet the basic humanitarian demands of the population. Despite announcements of a partial reopening of border crossings by Israeli authorities, the limited deliveries average fewer than 90 trucks daily, leaving essential supplies dangerously scarce.
The Gaza Government Media Office condemns this as part of a deliberate strategy to “strangle” the enclave’s two million residents by cutting off vital food, fuel, and medical aid. With healthcare facilities and infrastructure on the verge of collapse, the people face escalating risks of famine, disease, and total deprivation.
Holding Israel fully responsible for the worsening crisis, Palestinian officials urge the international community to pressure for an immediate, unconditional lifting of the blockade. Without urgent action, Gaza’s humanitarian disaster will deepen, threatening the survival of countless innocent civilians.
