Ceasefire Breached: Israeli Airstrikes Kill Ten Civilians Across Gaza

At least ten Palestinians were killed and several others injured in a fresh wave of Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, targeting civilian vehicles and residential buildings in Khan Younis and Gaza City. Strikes on a car north of Khan Younis claimed five lives, including a child, while a house in Al-Sabra neighborhood, southern Gaza City, was flattened, killing four and injuring four more, including an infant. Emergency crews continue rescue efforts amid the rubble.

Additional strikes hit Rafah, Al-Zaytoun, and areas near Al-Shifa Medical Complex, further demonstrating a pattern of attacks violating the October 10 ceasefire. Palestinian authorities reported that Israeli operations have included shootings at civilians, demolitions of homes, and incursions into residential areas, collectively killing 94 and injuring 344 since the ceasefire began. The attacks underscore ongoing threats to civilian life and the fragile truce in Gaza.

The Palestinian movement labelled the strikes a “criminal escalation” and reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire, highlighting Israel’s role in undermining the agreement. Despite assurances from U.S. officials that the truce will hold, reports indicate that Israeli forces continue limited military operations, leaving civilians in Gaza at severe risk.
