Israel Intensifies Attacks on Gaza Despite Ceasefire, Injuring Civilians and Demolishing Homes

SAFA — Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks across the Gaza Strip on Friday, October 30, bombing a residential apartment, carrying out large-scale demolitions and opening fire in several areas despite the ceasefire agreement, leaving several Palestinians injured.

The latest attacks come as Gaza's Ministry of Health reports that 1,574 Palestinians have been killed and 5,687 injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025.

Israeli Airstrike Hits Residential Apartment in Gaza City

Early Friday morning, an Israeli airstrike struck a residential apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, injuring several Palestinians.

The attack came as displaced families across the Strip continued to struggle with the destruction of their homes, severe shortages of essential supplies and the threat of renewed bombardment.

In central Gaza, Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale demolition operation east of Al-Masdar village, destroying buildings despite the ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Israeli surveillance aircraft intensified their flights over western Gaza City.

The latest escalation followed Israeli shelling in central Gaza on Thursday that killed three Palestinians and injured several others.

1,574 Palestinians Killed Since Ceasefire Began

According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks have killed 1,574 Palestinians and injured 5,687 others since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, 2025.

The continuing airstrikes, demolitions and gunfire have raised serious concerns over the agreement's ability to protect Palestinian civilians and prevent further casualties.

Gaza Death Toll Reaches 74,570

The Ministry of Health also reported that Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has killed 74,570 Palestinians and injured 175,808 others since October 7, 2023.

The latest attacks come amid widespread destruction, mass displacement and a deepening humanitarian crisis that has left much of Gaza's population struggling to secure shelter, food, water and medical care.

Despite the ceasefire, Palestinian families continue to face the threat of Israeli military attacks as they attempt to survive amid the devastation left by more than three years of war.
