A wave of coordinated settler violence swept through parts of the occupied West Bank overnight, leaving homes ablaze and families scrambling to contain the damage with limited means. In the northern village of Al Funduqomiya, near Jenin, several houses and vehicles were set on fire, with flames spreading rapidly through tightly built residential areas. Residents, lacking adequate emergency support, were seen attempting to extinguish the fires themselves as thick smoke filled the night sky.
Further south, near Tulkarm, live ammunition was used against civilians, leaving two individuals seriously wounded before they were transferred through a military checkpoint for medical treatment. In Masafer Yatta, close to Hebron, violence unfolded under the presence of armed forces, where residents were injured and several individuals, including a child, were taken prisoner following raids on homes. Witnesses described scenes of chaos as stun grenades were deployed and families were forcibly removed from their properties.
Elsewhere, attacks extended to key routes and rural areas, including the Jordan Valley, where vehicles were targeted with stones and civilians subjected to chemical irritants. Observers on the ground describe a pattern that appears neither random nor isolated, but rather part of a broader environment of coercion. Communities already living under strain now face increasing pressure, with fears that such acts are intended to make everyday life untenable and accelerate displacement amid an ongoing genocidal war.
