Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank are facing a growing wave of settler violence, with residents reporting repeated attacks on vehicles, farmland and private property under the protection of Israeli forces. The latest incidents unfolded near Ramallah, where groups of settlers targeted the village of Umm Safa in what locals described as a coordinated campaign of intimidation and destruction.
Witnesses said settlers gathered along the main road near the village before throwing stones at passing Palestinian vehicles, damaging several cars and spreading panic among drivers and passengers. At the same time, other settlers reportedly released cattle into nearby agricultural land, destroying crops and causing further losses to farmers already struggling under mounting restrictions and instability.
Residents say such attacks have become increasingly frequent across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem during the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza. Palestinian communities accuse settlers of using violence and land destruction to pressure families into leaving isolated rural areas, while expanding settlement activity continues to reshape large parts of the territory.
Local farmers warn that repeated assaults on farmland and access roads are threatening livelihoods and accelerating displacement, as calls continue for greater international scrutiny over settler violence and land seizures in the occupied territories.
