SAFA- Israeli occupation forces intensified raids across several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank early Thursday, arresting a young Palestinian man east of Qalqilya, while Israeli settlers escalated attacks on Bedouin communities in the northern Jordan Valley, threatening residents with forced displacement.

In the Qalqilya Governorate, Israeli occupation forces arrested Baraa Asayra after raiding and searching his home in the town of Azzun, east of the city. Troops entered the town through its northern entrance and deployed throughout its streets.

Several Israeli military vehicles also entered the city of Qalqilya through its eastern entrance, taking positions in the central market and along Nablus Street. The forces later raided a home in the Al-Qara'an neighborhood before withdrawing after an operation that lasted about two hours.

In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods, including Haifa Street, the area surrounding the Old City, and the area between the Old and New Askar refugee camps. Soldiers searched several homes and ransacked their contents without making any arrests.

Meanwhile, in the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli settlers wearing uniforms resembling those of the Israeli military raided Palestinian tents in the Ras al-Ahmar community, southeast of Tubas. They threatened residents with forced displacement within two weeks and cut electricity to homes in the eastern part of the community.

The assault followed a similar wave of settler attacks the previous night, during which settlers threatened Palestinian families with expulsion, cut off their water supply, and seized private vehicles. The attacks are part of an escalating campaign targeting Bedouin and pastoral communities across the Jordan Valley.
