Official warns of conducting tests of Coronavirus vaccines on Palestinian prisoners

The Director of the Studies and Documentation Department at the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Committee in the Gaza strip, Abdel Nasser Ferwana, warned that Israel would conduct tests of Coronavirus vaccines on prisoners.

"I fear for the prisoners and detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons from the Israeli vaccines' tests on their bodies, in light of Israel's insistence on the absence of international supervision," Ferwana said in a press statement.

He added, "The symptoms that appeared on those who received the vaccines lead me to accuse Israel of conducting tests on Palestinian prisoners, and make me renew the demand for a neutral international medical party to supervise the vaccination and monitor the entire process."

It is worth mentioning that around 355 Palestinian prisoners have tested positive for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
