The Ministry of Education condemns Israel's crime committed against a UNRWA elementary school in the Shati refugee camp in the west of the Gaza strip today's dawn.

The Ministry of Education said that the Israeli bombing to a UNRWA elementary school needs international accountability, asking the international community to intervene to hold Israel accountable for all practices and attacks that target the Palestinian people and that violate international law

"This attack is a new crime added to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and their educational institutions in particular," said the ministry on Thursday in a statement, a copy of which obtained by Safa Press Agency.

The Israeli warplanes bombed a UNRWA elementary school at dawn in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, causing damage and suspending classes, and it could be a massacre if the missile fell during school hours.
