The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas welcomed the report by Human Rights Watch (HRW) emphasizing with evidence that the Israeli occupation constantly commits crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution against the Palestinians.

Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qasim stated that "this report, which is published by an impartial international organization and is based on facts and figures, proves once again the credibility of the Palestinian narrative which exposes the crimes against humanity committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians and the Israeli occupation’s ongoing and appalling violation of international law."

"The HRW report is added to a series of similar reports condemning the Israeli occupation for committing crimes against humanity and reiterating the necessity for a serious and practical international action to punish and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes and for the international community to assume its duty towards such atrocities," Qasim added.

It is worth noting that the HRW published a 213-page report on Tuesday titled “A Threshold Crossed: Israeli Authorities and the Crimes of Apartheid and Persecution,” which examines Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.
