Supreme Court of Israel rejects petition filed in case of two prisoners brothers on hunger strike

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Committee confirmed that the Supreme Court of Israel had issued a decision rejecting the petition submitted by the Committee in the case of the two hunger strikers Mahmoud and his brother Kayed Al-Fasfous from the town of Dura, Hebron district.

The petition included an appeal against the administrative detention decisions issued against them.

The Committee indicated that the Al-Fasfous brothers continue their strike for the 21st consecutive day in protest of their administrative detention.

The occupation authorities are currently isolating the prisoner Kayedin  "Nitzan Ramle" prison. As for his brother Mahmoud, he was transferred to the so-called Ramle Prison Clinic after a deterioration in his health.

The Committee expressed its concern over the lives of all the striking prisoners, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for their fate, especially that the occupation prisons administration does not stop imposing punitive measures against them to discourage them from continuing their strike.

It is reported that the prisoner, Mahmoud Al-Fasfous, has been detained since September 15, 2020, and his brother Kayed has been detained since October 17, 2020, and both of them were previously arrested several times.
