The family of the Palestinian prisoner Omar Jaabari, 32, fromYamun town in the weat of Jenin, said that their son started his open hunger strike  in protest of his adminstrative detention in the Israeli regime prisons.

The Head of the Palestinian Prisoner Club Montaser Sammour said that the prisoner Jaabari has been arrested since January 2021. “Two adminstrative detention orders were issued against him; 4 months for each,” he noted.

He also mentioned that Jaabari is an ex-prisoner and is in Ofer prison today.
