The CodePink organization that supports the Palestinian rights stated that the Head of the organization Arielle Gold received death threats on the background of its support to the Palestinians.
In a petition signed by 6000 persons, the organization called in Twitter to stop targeting the Palestinian content by closing and suspending accounts supporting the Palestinian rights.
“Twitter suspended, yesterday, the account of the head of the organization for the second time as she defends the Palestinian rights in the America field, and called for reopening Gold’s account and for not chasing the pro-Palestine activists,” the petition said.
Twitter had suspended Gold’s account after she tweeted a post about the occupation army’s attack affinity peaceful Palestinian protesters in Gaza.
The petition noted that Gold is a pro-Palestine activist and content maker who calls for ending military wars. She had been exposed to death and violence threats by Israeli defenders many times.
CodePink is a popular organization led by by women, and works on ending wars and American military conflicts. It supports peace and human rights initiatives.
