The Israeli Occupation Military Court issued a decision to sentence the Palestinian prisoner Ghassan Ibrahim Zawahreh, 40, from Al-Dheisha camp in Bethlehem, to 4 months of administrative detention.
Asra Media Office reported that the Israeli occupation forces raided his house, search its belongings, and arrested him in Aug 19, 2021. Less than 4 months have passed since his last release.
It noted that he had spent 27 months in administrative detention.
The occupation intelligence claimed that they have a classified file that assures the risk Zawahreh imposes on the occupation state. Hence, the court decided to sentence him to 14 months in prison.
Zawahreh is one of the leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Beithelhem, and is continuously targeted as he spent more than 13 years in the Israeli prisons and administrative detention.
