The Israeli occupation authorities on Monday released the detainee, Mourid Ghaith, from the village of Deir Ghasana, north of the city of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank after 17 years of detention.

The ex-detainee, Ghaith, who was released from Ofer prison, was greeted by a large crowd.

It should be noted that the ex-prisoner, Ghaith, was arrested in 2004. He is the brother of the martyr, Aid Ghaith, who was killed in 2001 by Israeli bullets in the city of Ramallah.
