Several injured in a shooting in Tel Aviv and the assailant killed

Israeli police announced on Saturday that several people were injured in a shooting on Levontin Street in southern Tel Aviv. The police stated in a report that large police forces were heading to the scene, adding that the circumstances were still unclear at this stage. They also mentioned that the investigation into the details of the incident is ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Israeli ambulance service reported that paramedics were treating a man with moderate injuries, confirming that the assailant had been neutralized. The police have not yet declared whether the incident was a terrorist attack.

Israeli TV channel "i24" mentioned that the assailant was killed during the security operation.
