More than 200 Italian Jews have expressed their opposition to the ethnic cleansing plan in the Gaza Strip, urging the Italian government not to be complicit in it. This was stated in a declaration published on Wednesday by *La Repubblica*, one of Italy’s leading newspapers.  

The declaration stated, “(U.S. President Donald) Trump wants to displace Palestinians from Gaza, while violence from settlers and the Israeli government continues in the West Bank.” It added, “The Jews of Italy say no to ethnic cleansing, and Italy must not be complicit in this plan.”  

The declaration was signed by over 200 Jews in Italy.  

Since January 25, Trump has promoted a plan to relocate Gazans to neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan, a proposal rejected by both nations and opposed by other Arab countries, as well as regional and international organizations.
