The Israeli occupation forces continue their relentless assault on the Gaza Strip for the 592nd consecutive day, carrying out intense air and ground attacks that have resulted in further massacres against civilians and widespread destruction.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since 18 March 2025 has reached 3340, with at least 9357 others wounded. Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on 7 October 2023, the overall toll has risen to 53486 Palestinians killed and 151398 injured.
Medical sources reported that over 50 people were killed since the early hours of Monday, bringing the death toll for the day to at least 138. These figures reflect a continued policy of deliberate targeting of civilians in the besieged enclave.
Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Al Muqeid family in Ezbet Mleem, in the Jabalia refugee camp, killing nine people and injuring others. Several victims remain missing beneath the rubble, as civil defence teams continue their search.
In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, 13 members of the Nasser family were killed when Israeli forces targeted Razi Station. Among the dead were Ahmed Nasser Abu Osama, principal of Al Izz bin Abdul Salam Secondary School, his wife, four daughters, and other relatives.
In Gaza City’s Darej neighbourhood, two Israeli drones bombed the Musa bin Nusayr School, where hundreds of displaced families were taking shelter. Thirteen civilians, including women and children, were killed instantly and many others critically injured.
Further south, airstrikes targeted the Manara area east of Khan Younis, resulting in more casualties. In Rafah, an Israeli drone strike hit a tent sheltering the Kassab family in the Mawasi area, killing seven people and injuring five others.
Israeli naval forces also opened fire on residential homes in Beit Lahiya in the north of the Strip, adding to the ongoing devastation.
These attacks deepen an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The consistent targeting of civilian homes, shelters, and public facilities reveals an entrenched policy of collective punishment and destruction. Despite the soaring death toll and scale of devastation, the international community has yet to intervene meaningfully to end the violence or uphold international law. Palestinian authorities continue to call for urgent global action to protect innocent lives.
