Hamas has accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting humanitarian aid convoys and personnel, warning that such actions are part of a wider effort to deepen the crisis in Gaza and prevent access to life-saving resources.
In a statement, the group said Israeli strikes hit a medical warehouse at Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza, destroying the facility and igniting a fire. The attack was described as a continuation of efforts to dismantle Gaza’s collapsing healthcare infrastructure.
Hamas linked the strikes to a broader campaign against Gaza’s civilian population, particularly in the north, and condemned what it called international silence and American complicity in the ongoing escalation.
The group urged the UN and Security Council to act swiftly, calling on rights organisations and global civil society to intensify pressure for an end to the war and the blockade.
