More Than 3,000 Ceasefire Violations Recorded in Gaza

Authorities in Gaza said that more than 3,000 alleged Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement had been documented as of 31 May 2026, more than seven months after the truce came into effect.

According to figures released on Monday, a total of 3,076 violations have been recorded over 232 days. The reported toll includes 939 people killed, 2,889 injured and 82 detained during the ceasefire period. Officials said the figures illustrate the continued human cost despite the agreement intended to halt the violence.

The data also highlighted significant shortfalls in the delivery of humanitarian assistance. Authorities said 50,636 aid trucks had entered Gaza, compared with 139,200 trucks expected under the terms of the agreement, representing around 36 per cent of the planned total. Travel arrangements also remained limited, with 5,836 people permitted to leave the territory out of 17,800 expected under the deal, a compliance rate of roughly 32 per cent.

Officials accused Israel of failing to meet key obligations outlined in the ceasefire agreement, citing ongoing killings, widespread destruction, restrictions on humanitarian access and measures they said have contributed to severe shortages of food and essential supplies across Gaza. Israel has previously disputed similar accusations and has maintained that its actions are driven by security considerations.
