SAFA- Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out shelling, gunfire, demolitions, and bulldozing in several areas across the eastern and southern parts of the territory.

A local source said a Palestinian was injured after Israeli forces opened fire in the Tal Al-Dhahab area of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.

Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale demolition near Abu Tammam School east of Beit Lahia and fired illumination flares over the area. Heavy gunfire was also reported from Israeli military vehicles east of Jabalia in northern Gaza.

Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City as tanks opened heavy fire on the area.

Additionally, Israeli naval vessels fired off the Khan Younis coast. In western Rafah, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire across the Al-Mawasi area while carrying out extensive bulldozing operations.

Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and attacks targeting areas sheltering displaced Palestinians. They have also continued demolitions and destruction inside the area known as the "Yellow Line," while maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.

Since the ceasefire started on October 10, 1,207 Palestinians have died and 3,914 more have been injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The ministry also reported the recovery of 803 bodies during the same period.

The ministry said the overall toll since the start of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,333 Palestinians killed and 174,023 injured.
