A Palestinian in the city of Al-Tira, in the Southern Triangle area, was forced on Sunday to tear down his home at orders of the Israeli authorities.

The Israeli authorities forced Sari Massarwe, from the city of Al-Tira, to demolish his home, which is under construction, on Sunday morning, or he will pay exorbitant amounts in fines and costs.

Masarweh started to self-demolish his home after he received a police report assuring to fine him 340,000 NIS if the demolition order was not implemented.

Over the past two months, the Israeli forces implemented a number of demolitions under the pretext of building without permits and forcing the citizens to pay high costs if they do not implement the orders.
