Hemaya condemns Israeli violations against Palestinians

Hemaya Center for Human Rights (HCHR) Thursday has condemned the escalation of Israeli violations in the Palestinian territories.

The Center urges in a statement the international community to take effective measures to oblige Israel to respect international law and United Nations resolutions related to the Palestinian issue.

It has noted that the Israeli policy is aims at preventing to establish a Palestinian state in accordance with UN resolutions.

Moreover, it has stressed that this policy is a flagrant violation of the principles of international humanitarian law, and it severely undermines the civilians' human rights and violates the principles endorsed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It also falls among the international crimes mentioned in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

HCHR has called to put pressure on the Israeli authorities to immediately stop the racist policy in the Palestinian territories and to respect the resolutions of the international community regarding Palestine.
