A number of demonstrations condemning the Israeli apartheid wall in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) took place yesterday in nine different cities in Holland.
The demonstrators slammed the policy of apartheid and the brutal attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians.
For his part, the head of the Dutch Palestinian community, Ayman Nejmen, said: "The purpose of the demonstration is to remind the world of Israel's illegal practices."
Nejmen pointed out that the International Court of Justice confirmed in 2004 that building a wall on the lands of Palestine is a clear violation of international law.
He noted that despite the passage of 17 years since the declaration of the Court, Israel is still ignoring the international community resolutions.
